Queen’s Mill Tearooms offers luxury afternoon teas served on three-tiered cake stands complete with fresh Yorkshire tea. Customers may also opt for freshly ground coffee, delicious homemade cakes, and freshly made sandwiches that are all served on vintage china.
We offer full disabled access and facilities, along with a large free car parking space for customers who visit and/or frequent our tearoom in Castleford, England. Full event planning and management are also available.

Choose from a wide range of delicious homemade cakes, scones, and sticky chocolate brownies. We also have a full breakfast menu, delicious daily special hot dishes, along with triple-layer sandwiches, paninis, salads, omelettes, soups, and a truly substantial Queen's Mill ploughman’s platter.
We offer a special menu for vegetarians, vegans, and celiacs. A kids’ menu is also available, including the ever-popular bitty bobby platter that consists of a sandwich, brownie, cheese, fruit, and vegetable crudities.

Over the past 5 years, Queen’s Mill Tearooms has held many events, either during our normal opening hours or on an exclusive basis during the late afternoon/late evening. Many christening, wedding, and birthday buffets have been enjoyed, along with our speciality baby shower event.
Being fully licenced, whilst also offering a full hot and cold drink selection, ensures everyone can enjoy the party. At our place, we make sure that you can enjoy the company of your loved ones while enjoying great music and entertainment. We even have special theme nights that make celebrations even more unique and interesting.

Fun and enjoyable evening events are regularly held in the tearoom, including Greek Night, Spanish Night, and French Night, among others. We often host live music with dinner evenings and Jazz bunches, too.
Evening events are normally accompanied by a live singer or disco.

Dana Russell, has more than 17 years of experience in events catering for business meetings, corporate events, parties, christenings, funeral tea, and baby showers, just to name a few.
All types of catering can be served including vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free, lactose-free, and celiac-intolerant. Complete bar facilities and/or waiting services are also available upon request.
